This service offers two ways to store your information; Self-Managed and Managed.

Whether you choose to manage your plans yourself, get us to do so for you or prefer to take a mix and match, our service is available to you at no charge. But, how can that be the case? How can our service be delivered to you at no charge?

The Managed Service is available on many pensions, investments, savings and protection plans. Generally such products are sold by financial advisers who get paid through two inbuilt commissions: an Initial commission and a Renewal commission.

The Initial commission represents an initial charge on your plan and this is generally the reward to the salesman, paid by the Provider, for the sale of the product. The Renewal commission recognises the need for someone to provide you with an ongoing service; to keep you up to date, to ensure that the plan continues to meet your needs, to deal with your queries. Renewal commission is normally paid throughout the duration of the plan's life and the costs of paying it are built in to your plan. It is typically a small amount, for example 2.5% of the annual premium or 0.5% of the value of an investment.

The problem for many people, quite simply, is that they receive no service. The charge is built-in, but they get no value for it.

If you elect our managed service, we will take over the servicing of your plan. We will become the plan's 'servicing agent'. As such we will receive information and correspondence from the product provider and we will ensure that this information is made available to you via your account.

We will organise and make sense of your plans and we will receive only the existing renewal commission as payment.
